Caroline retired from family law practice on 31 March 2022.  She wishes to continue to help people resolve family issues and will do this through offering more general family guidance through her consultancy service.

Caroline was called to the Bar in 1983.  She has wide professional experience which includes years as a barrister with 1GC, Middle Temple and also a Commercial Litigation solicitor.  She also worked for a merchant bank and stock broker in the City for 4 years.  After taking time out for family commitments, she used her experience as a barrister and a solicitor to return to Family Practice as a direct access barrister.  She believed public access had the potential to be a more conciliatory and cost effective means for parties to achieve informed and efficient resolution of family matters.

She moved from family law practice to consultancy in April 2022 and is excited at her new role which she will use to facilitate early resolution and minimise acrimony through early consultation and planning for family issues.
