Public access barrister with authorisation to conduct litigation

Caroline Hely Hutchinson was called to the Bar in 1983.  She has broad professional experience which includes years as a barrister with 1GC, London WC2A 3BP and also as a Commercial Litigation solicitor.   Caroline has also worked in the City for a Merchant Bank and a Stock Broker, so has first hand knowledge of the financial world.

After taking time out for family commitments, she decided to return to family law practice and combine her experience as a barrister and a solicitor to offer a bespoke Public Access service.  Her emphasis on Public Access is to provide a cost effective means for parties to achieve informed and efficient resolution of family matters during and following marriage and other domestic partnerships and arrangements.

If a lawyer is likely to be consulted in the divorce process, the earlier this can be done the better, so there is a realistic appraisal of the issues at the outset and thereafter a consistency in the proposals for agreement.  This can avoid divorce bills which are out of proportion to the amount and problems at stake.

Caroline is also aware of the need for emotional support and to have confidence in one’s legal representative.
